As an Arab pastor serving in Israel, one of the greatest privileges of ministry is witnessing the power of the Gospel to bring people together in ways that the world often considers impossible.
Every day, we work to build God’s Kingdom, shepherd His people, and demonstrate the love of Messiah across cultural, ethnic, and social boundaries. Yet from time to time, God provides opportunities to share that testimony beyond the borders of Israel itself.
Recently, I had the privilege of participating in the One New Man Conference held in Bournemouth, England, where believers from different nations gathered for worship, teaching, fellowship, and encouragement. Throughout the conference, I had the opportunity to serve alongside a Jewish pastor, sharing what God is doing among Jewish and Arab believers in Israel today.
For many attending the conference, seeing an Arab pastor and a Jewish pastor ministering together was deeply moving. In a world that often highlights division and conflict, they witnessed something very different—a living testimony of reconciliation through Yeshua the Messiah.
What touched me most was not simply standing together on a platform. It was seeing how the message of the Gospel continues to impact hearts. Many people approached us throughout the conference to express how encouraged they were to see genuine friendship, mutual respect, and shared ministry between believers whose backgrounds might suggest separation, yet whose faith has united them as brothers.
The conference itself was a tremendous blessing. Times of worship, biblical teaching, prayer, and fellowship created an atmosphere where God was clearly at work. Believers were refreshed, encouraged, and strengthened in their faith. New friendships were formed, and many left with a renewed passion to serve the Lord in their communities.
One of the most meaningful moments came as we gathered around the Lord’s Table together.
Believers from different nations, languages, and cultures shared communion as one family in Christ. In that moment, we were reminded that our unity is not built upon common backgrounds, traditions, or experiences. It is built upon the finished work of Yeshua, who reconciled us to God and to one another through His sacrifice.
The words of Paul came to life before our eyes:
“For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.”
Ephesians 2:14
As I looked around the room, I was reminded once again that this is what the Kingdom of God looks like. People from different nations worshiping together. Believers serving together. Hearts united around the One who gave His life for all.
We returned home deeply encouraged and grateful for all that God did during those days. The Bournemouth Conference was a beautiful reminder that the Gospel is still changing lives, still bringing reconciliation, and still revealing God’s heart to a watching world.
