The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
Psalm 121:7-8
At Home of Jesus the King Church, we are constantly amazed by the way God watches over His children.
This past month, Pastor Saleem and his family experienced not one but two moments where God’s hand was undeniably at work. Their story is a beautiful reminder that our loving Father is always near, shielding us in ways we can’t always comprehend. We hope their testimony touches your heart and strengthens your faith.
A few weeks ago, Pastor Saleem and his family were driving, enjoying a peaceful moment together, when the unexpected happened. A bus came speeding up behind them. The driver, distracted and too late to react, couldn’t stop in time. The family braced themselves as the bus collided with their car. In that terrifying moment, there was nothing they could do but trust in the Lord.
And God answered.
Despite the impact, not a single scratch was found on Pastor Saleem’s car, and most importantly, his family was completely unharmed. It felt as though a heavenly shield had surrounded them, absorbing what could have been a devastating crash. Their hearts overflowed with gratitude as they realized how God’s angels had been protecting them.
Just one week later, another frightening incident occurred. As Pastor Saleem and his family were driving, a motorcycle in the opposite lane lost control. Time seemed to slow as the motorcycle slid toward their car. It was clear a collision was inevitable. In desperation, Pastor Saleem cried out to Jesus, calling on the only name that saves.
Then, something miraculous happened.
The motorcycle’s front wheel struck the front left wheel of Pastor Saleem’s car and bounced off. Instead of a serious accident, the motorcycle veered away, leaving the family safe and their car untouched once again. In that moment, it was undeniable: God’s hand had intervened. Their cries for help had been heard, and the Lord had surrounded them with His protection.
These two miraculous events remind us of a beautiful truth: God is always with us.
When life feels uncertain or dangerous, He stands as our shield and defender. Psalm 121 tells us, “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” Whether it’s physical danger or spiritual battles, His love surrounds us, keeping us safe in ways we may not even see.
Pastor Saleem and his family’s testimony is a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness.
In their moments of greatest need, they turned to Jesus, and He responded with incredible care and protection.
