As many of you know, those who serve the Lord in ministry often come under attack—both spiritually and physically—because of their calling and the impact they make for the Kingdom of God. Our dear Pastor Saleem is no exception. Over the years, he has faced many battles, yet through it all, God has faithfully protected and sustained him.
This past week, while serving at the HomeJTK humanitarian aid center, Pastor Saleem was moving heavy tables by himself due to the lack of available help at the time. Unfortunately, he slipped and fell, severely injuring his shoulder. He was later taken to the hospital, where the doctor confirmed the injury and advised him to rest and avoid physical strain—especially traveling for the next few weeks.
This incident comes at a time when Pastor Saleem has several important ministry engagements ahead, including travel to preach the Word, to share the message of God’s love, and to continue his mission of reconciliation between Arabs and Jews. His heart is always ready to go wherever the Lord sends him, but right now his body needs healing.
Due to the physical injury to his shoulder, Pastor Saleem has also been experiencing difficulty sleeping, which adds to the strain. We believe that this is not just a physical setback, but a spiritual attack meant to hinder the powerful work God is doing through his ministry. But we also know that our God is greater!
We are asking all our friends, supporters, and intercessors to stand with us in prayer. Please pray for:
- Complete healing of Pastor Saleem’s shoulder and restoration of strength
- Peaceful and refreshing sleep so his body and mind can recover
- Protection over upcoming ministry trips and engagements
- That the enemy’s plans would be overturned, and that what Satan tried to steal will be restored many times over
- Strength, encouragement, and joy for Pastor Saleem and his family during this time
We know that God is in control, and what the enemy meant for harm, the Lord can turn for good. Let’s lift up Pastor Saleem together and declare God’s healing, covering, and breakthrough over his life and ministry.
