As we approach the upcoming Jewish holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot, we have an incredible opportunity to extend the love of God to over 500 Jewish families in need.
These special holidays, marking the Jewish New Year and the Feast of Tabernacles, are times of reflection, renewal, and celebration. For many families, however, it’s also a time of great need. This year, we want to bring joy and comfort to new Jewish immigrants, Holocaust survivors, and Ukrainian and Russian refugees by blessing them with special holiday food boxes.
Each holiday food box will be filled with essential non-perishable items, along with festive treats like honey, chocolates, and cookies — symbols of hope and sweetness for the new year. We pray that through these gifts, these precious families will feel the warmth of God’s love and experience the connection to the land of their fathers.
In addition to blessing these families, we are also preparing to bless their children with holiday coloring books that beautifully tell stories from the Bible. These coloring books, along with pencils, stickers, and other crafts, are designed to bring a smile to children who have faced unimaginable hardships, whether from the ongoing conflict in Israel or from the war in Ukraine. Many of these refugee families have fled their homes seeking safety, and our goal is to give their children a moment of joy and creative expression.
For just $50, you can bless a family with a holiday food box, and for $10, you can bring happiness to a child with a special holiday coloring and craft set.
