As we enter into the religious holidays of Passover, Easter, and Ramadan, we are reminded of the deep calling to love and serve those around us. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 25 that when we care for the least of these, we are truly serving Him. This is a powerful reminder of the profound impact we can have on the lives of others through simple acts of kindness—like sharing a meal.
This year, Home of Jesus the King Church is preparing a significant food box distribution to support families in need during these overlapping holidays. In Israel, where Muslims, Jews, and Christians will celebrate their faiths simultaneously, we have a unique opportunity to reach across religious divides and show the love of Christ. This is a season of unity, reconciliation, and peace—a time to build bridges, not walls.
We are honored to be able to distribute:
- 500 food boxes to Muslim families during Ramadan,
- 500 food boxes to Christian families during Easter, and
- 500 food boxes (including 200 kosher boxes) to Jewish families during Pesach (Passover).
These food boxes, valued at $40 each, are not just about providing nourishment—they are symbols of compassion, love, and hope. In a world that often feels divided, these boxes carry the message of Christ’s love that transcends all boundaries, bringing light and peace to those in need.
Our distribution will take place through home visits, from our Humanitarian Aid Center, and in collaboration with the community of Nof HaGalil. Every box is a testament to the power of unity, offering more than just food; it offers a tangible expression of God’s love and the peace that only Christ can bring.
