We are launching an emergency initiative to provide beds to poor and needy families from among the Arabs and Jews living in the northern Israeli city of Haifa. We were shocked to find out how many of the people who have made contact with our church and distribution center in Haifa are sleeping on the floor, on couches, or even in inflatable kiddie pools! Not only is a good night’s rest a necessity for one’s health, but a good night’s rest is also a blessing from the Lord.
Would you help us to provide 10 beds to those in dire need? The beds we found are really beautiful and of great quality, and a very reasonable price. You can see the beds in the photos below. The cost for an entire bed, including the frame and the mattress, amounts to 1500 NIS per unit (±$430). Perhaps you, your homegroup, or church would be willing to sponsor one or multiple beds such as these? This is not just about providing in a critical need, but also about sharing the pure and compassionate love of Jesus with people through our actions.
