But Jesus said, “You feed them.”

Mark 6:37

As we serve the broken, poor, and needy among the people of Nazareth, we do so in an attitude of humility and love, understanding that we are being presented with a divine opportunity to do good and to reflect the Lord’s heart to those in need. With the current situation in Israel, the cost of living has skyrocketed, and people are finding it harder and harder to make ends meet. As we read in Mark 6:37, it’s time for the church to mobilize and meet that need!

The people we come into contact with always raise the question: “Why are you doing this? Why are you helping us?” We then have the opportunity to share that the love of Jesus compels us to be a blessing, and that it’s Jesus’ desire for the people of Israel to know Him, to know that He loves them, and that He is there to take care of them in their hour of need.

Just recently we had a young man, Ahmed, visit our center to receive aid and counseling. Ahmed was an atheist, but had received Christ through the testimony and ministering of our team at our center. Hallelujah! Ahmed now comes to church regularly and will soon be baptized in the Jordan River. These are the kind of fruits that our humanitarian center produces, and we are trusting God for an even greater impact on the people of Nazareth.

I would like to invite everybody who has a heart for Israel to please consider donating towards our projects and become co-laborers in the spiritual restoration of Israel. We are currently providing food baskets to 150 families every month, but would like to add another 100 families on a monthly basis, as the need in Nazareth is great. For a monthly gift of $30, you can provide a family in need with a food basket. You are most welcome to also support multiple families.

We would also like to ask you to please pray for each and every person that visits our humanitarian aid center, that the love and message of Christ will impact their lives, and draw them into a living relationship with Christ. Amen!
