For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

Psalm 91:11

What a blessing to know that God has personally commanded His angels to protect His children from harm. Sometimes we don’t even know to what extent the Lord protects us, and other times we see it clearly with our own eyes. My daughter, Nardeen, experienced the Lord’s protection this way during this past week.

Nardeen was driving away from home to go to the gym for her daily exercise, and approached a big junction nearby. A busy main road passes through this junction, and it’s a place where accidents frequently happen. As she approached the junction, the car suddenly went out of control. The brakes, gears, and steering failed simultaneously, and Nirdeen’s car sped through the junction and across the main road.

This was the moment that God showed his faithfulness, as Nardeen car continued right across the main road, without a single car making contact with her car. Nirdeen’s car safely came to a stop against a raised platform on the opposite side of the road, with Nirdeen completely unharmed. Praise the Lord!

Nardeen immediately phoned me and I ran to where she stopped with the car. I was praying as I ran, and I was overjoyed to see that my daughter was fine, and the car only had minor damage from coming to a halt against the platform. I checked the car to understand what had happened, and found that nothing was wrong with the car. It worked absolutely fine. I understood then what had happened.

This was a supernatural attack from the enemy against Nardeen, but despite the devil’s best attempts, God’s angels protected her. The fact that she passed through the junction and across the busy road without any kind of accident was a miracle! I praise the Lord for His faithfulness and protection over Nardeen.

I believe that the devil is attacking Pastors and their families all over the world, to stop the work the work of the Kingdom and to interfere with the plans of the Lord, as we can read in Matthew 26:31 – “I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.” Thankfully we have a faithful Father who is always looking over us, assigning His angels over us to keep us in all our ways. Amen!
