This week, we were deeply honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the Soldier’s House in Haifa, a home that provides support and shelter for lone soldiers—young Jewish men and women who have come from around the world to serve in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
For us at Home of Jesus the King Church, this recognition carries a special meaning. It represents the bridges of love and unity that God is building through our ministry between people of different backgrounds — Jews, Arabs, and believers from the nations — all united by a shared heart for Israel.
A Home for the Brave
The Soldier’s House in Haifa is more than just a dormitory; it is a place of refuge and family for these young soldiers who have left their countries, families, and comfort to stand with Israel. Many of them come from North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, driven by a deep love for the Jewish people and a desire to defend the land of their ancestors.
Through your prayers and generous support, Home of Jesus the King Church has been able to reach out to these brave young people — providing humanitarian aid, personal encouragement, and practical help. Each package we deliver and every visit we make is a reminder that they are not forgotten, that the love of God is alive in this land, and that there are believers standing with them.
Building Bridges of Love
Pastor Saleem often says that love has the power to break every barrier. In times when the world seems divided, moments like these show what God’s kingdom looks like — unity, compassion, and practical love in action.
Receiving this certificate is not just a recognition of our efforts — it’s a testimony of what happens when we live out the Gospel of Yeshua here in Israel. It shows how faith in Jesus can bring healing, reconciliation, and friendship between Arabs and Jews, between Israel and the nations.
Gratitude and Vision
We are deeply thankful to the leadership of the Soldier’s House in Haifa for this meaningful gesture. And we are even more thankful to you, our friends and partners around the world, whose prayers and support make this kind of outreach possible.
