I recently had the privilege of attending the International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem’s gala event in Tennessee, in honor of Israel’s 75th anniversary. It was so humbling to be received as an honored guest along with so many wonderful servants of God from all over. I was so blessed to see all the wonderful leaders and ministers that God had raised up to create awareness and raise up prayer and support for Israel, all assembled at one event such as this.
It’s also at events like these where I often see God forging new relationships and friendships to strengthen and expand His Kingdom. The contacts that I’ve made at these types of events have been people whom God had divinely sent across my path, to assist us in our work of fostering reconciliation and bridge-building in Israel between Jews and Arabs.
I believe that we as Arab Christians in Israel have been called to be peacemakers and to cross the gap, connecting Jews and Arabs through the love and light of Jesus Christ, and events such as these have proven so valuable in building out the Kingdom of God in Israel through raising prayer, support, and advocacy.
I’m so thankful to the ICEJ for inviting me to attend and for their amazing love and support. They are doing a mighty work all across the earth by bringing people together for God’s Kingdom and in support of Israel. May God continue to bless them in all that they do!
