This past week was a truly momentous week, as we blessed many Arab and Jewish families with critical humanitarian aid, while also sharing the love and the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with them. The Lord has truly opened a door for us to reach the hearts of the people of Israel through our humanitarian aid projects, revealing the heart and compassion of Jesus unto many.
As the new school year draws near, many poor families in Nazareth are in dire need of help to provide their children with school supplies to prepare them for the new school year. With the help of our partners, we were able to provide 120 good-quality school backpacks to children in need. This simple act of love put a huge smile on the faces of the parents and the children and alleviated much of the financial strain of preparing for the new school year.
We were also able to reach out to more than one hundred Jewish Ukrainian refugees in Nof Ha-Galil with much-needed electric fans for the hot Israeli summer. These dear ones need all the help they can get, and for them to see Arab Israelis blessing them with the love of Jesus and practical means is a huge testimony. Many came up to us afterward to express their gratitude and absolute surprise that Israeli Arabs would show such compassion and love to the Jewish people. What a testimony!
Our food boxes and clothing distribution has also continued to make a huge impact on both Jewish and Arab families in need. Our humanitarian aid center continues to see daily visitors who come to receive food aid, good-quality clothing, and toiletries, while spending time in fellowship and prayer with other visitors, as well as with our team from Home of Jesus the King Church. When you get too visit us here in Israel, we would love for you to also meet these dear ones whose lives you have changed through your prayers and support!
