There are moments when you step into a room and are reminded that God is at work far beyond what you can see in your own community.
Recently, I had the privilege of participating in the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast, joining believers, pastors, ministry leaders, and friends of Israel from many different nations who had gathered with one purpose—to pray for Israel and seek the peace of Jerusalem.
As I looked around the room, I was deeply encouraged. People had traveled from across the world because they love Israel, believe in God’s purposes for this land, and desire to stand in prayer during a challenging season in our nation’s history. In a world that often seems increasingly divided, it was a powerful reminder that God continues to unite people around His heart and His plans.
One of the great privileges of the gathering was having the opportunity to pray publicly for Israel and for Arab leaders throughout our region. As an Arab believer serving in Nazareth, these moments carry special meaning for me. For many years, God has placed a burden on my heart to see genuine understanding, friendship, and cooperation grow between Arabs and Jews. I prayed that God would give leaders wisdom, soften hearts, and raise up men and women who genuinely desire peace, reconciliation, and blessing for Israel.
This bridge-building calling has always been at the heart of our ministry. Every day through Home of Jesus the King Church, we seek to demonstrate the love of Yeshua in practical ways while serving people from different backgrounds and communities. Whether through humanitarian outreach, prayer ministry, personal relationships, or acts of compassion, we believe God is able to bring people together where division once existed.
The Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast was also a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with ministry friends and meet new partners from around the world. Many were eager to hear about what God is doing here in Nazareth and throughout Israel. I was grateful for the opportunity to share about our congregation, our outreach efforts, and the vision God has given us to be a light in this land while serving both Jewish and Arab communities.
Again and again, I was reminded that we are part of something much larger than ourselves. God is raising up believers from many nations who are faithfully praying, giving, serving, and standing with Israel. These friendships are precious because they remind us that the body of Messiah is united by something far stronger than geography, language, or culture.
I returned home encouraged and grateful—not only for the opportunity to participate, but for the reminder that God continues to move in the hearts of His people around the world. We are thankful for every person who prays for Israel, who stands with the people of this land, and who joins us in believing for God’s peace, salvation, and purposes to be fulfilled.
As Scripture reminds us, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure” (Psalm 122:6).
