We’re very excited to announce our new kids ministry initiative called “Mailbox Bible Studies!” This brand-new project is geared towards reaching children with the Word of God at home, by mailing them materials and activities to complete with their parents.
This initiative then doesn’t just engage the kids, but also the parents! In this manner we’ll be able to form healthy and uplifting relationships with Arab families across Nazareth, specifically those who wouldn’t usually go to church.
Our kids ministry team at HomeJTK have been hard at work to prepare the mailbox lessons for children of various ages, and compiling the packs that they’ll be sending on a weekly basis to tens of families in Nazareth.
As our teacher have been working through the curriculum themselves, they have been equipped on how to best perform this ministry effectively, and on how to teach the Word of God to these children in a way that’s easy to understand and relate to.
Along with the lesson packs, we’re also sending our contact details to the parents to contact us with any questions, and for guidance. We also extend an open invitation to these families to join us at HomeJTK for our Shabbat meetings.
At the completion of the kids curriculums, we will also conduct a graduation ceremony at church, and invite the children and this parents to join us for a celebration of their children completing the course materials, and award them with certificates to commemorate the special occasion.
We believe that this new initiative will be instrumental in bringing new families to church, and have them commit their lives to Christ. Please pray with us for the success of this project, and for God’s blessing upon it.
