I recently had the amazing opportunity to visit the United States and take part in a really important conference, the Chosen People Conference, which dealt with the rise of antisemitism around the world. It was a powerful and meaningful experience for me, not just as an Arab-Israeli but also as a pastor passionate about spreading God’s love, unity, and truth.
As an Arab-Israeli pastor, I live in the middle of two communities that people often think of as divided. But my life and ministry show a different story—one of connection, respect, and partnership. At the conference, I got to share how our voice as Arab-Israelis is so important in the fight against antisemitism.
It’s not just about politics or cultural differences; it’s about standing up for what’s right. Antisemitism isn’t just hate—it’s also a spiritual issue. When hatred targets the Jewish people, who the Bible calls God’s chosen people, it becomes an attack on God’s plan for the world.
As followers of Jesus, we know there’s no place for hatred in our lives. Jesus told us to love our neighbors and even our enemies, so how can we ever justify hatred toward anyone, especially the Jewish people?
Antisemitism doesn’t just harm the Jewish community—it damages everyone.
It’s a spiritual sickness that goes against God’s command to love one another. Standing against it isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s part of our faith.
At the conference, I shared my heart about how we can combat antisemitism. It starts with education, open dialogue between different faiths, and sticking to biblical values. I talked about how believers, no matter their background, have to be united in standing against hatred.
I also shared my personal experience of breaking down barriers between Jews and Arabs. My life is proof that we can work together, respect each other, and even thrive together. It’s all about living out the call to be peacemakers.
This trip was a big reminder for me that we’re all part of God’s plan to bring light into the darkness. Fighting antisemitism isn’t just about protecting one group of people; it’s about defending God’s truth and showing the world His love.
As believers, we’re called to be a voice of hope and healing. That means standing up against hatred, sharing God’s love, and showing the world what it looks like to follow Jesus.
I came back from the trip feeling even more determined to keep being a bridge between communities and standing up for what’s right. We all have a role to play in making the world a better place.
Hatred is never an option, especially for us as believers. Together, we can show that God’s love overcomes darkness and that His truth will always shine through.
