Christmas is right around the corner and we’re super excited about what God has in store for Nazareth! On the 24th of December, we will be participating in the annual Christmas parade that will pass through Nazareth’s downtown area. For this parade me and my team will be handing out more than 3000 gift packs to the parents and children of Nazareth, along with many Israeli visitors from all walks of life, sharing the Good News that Jesus is the Reason for the Season. These gift packs will bring these children so much joy, and will serve as a tangible reminder that Jesus Christ loves them and that He came to earth to give them life, and life more abundantly!
Another Christmas project that we look forward to conducting is our evangelistic calendars which have been extremely effective in reaching the lost here in Nazareth with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. The Lord has been using these calendars for years as powerful tools of evangelism, as these calendars put the Good News every day in front of people’s eyes, 365 days a year!
They reach the homes of multitudes of Muslims, Jews, and traditional Christians. All the different religious holidays are also shown on these calendars, as well as the official state holidays. And the best part is, we give these calendars away for free! The focus of the 2023 calendar will be on being a light to the people and the nations in dark times. We will highlight different segments from Psalm 23 on every month’s calendar page to reinforce this message.
Another special project that we will be conducting during Christmas is to distribute special food boxes, containing nutritious and long-lasting food products, to more than 150 poor Christian families in Nazareth and Haifa. These food boxes will also contain special items in celebration of Christmas, and to declare the truth that Jesus is the Reason for the Season.
For your gift of $10 you can bless a child, or many children, with a special Christmas gift pack containing a toy, a box of chocolates, as well as a fridge magnet that declares “Jesus is the Reason for the Season!”
For your gift of $40, you can bless a needy Christian family, or multiple families, with a special Christmas food box containing a wide variety of nutritious food items to celebrate Christmas properly.
For your gift of $2, you can bless a person, or multiple people, with our evangelistic annual calendar that clearly depicts and explains the Gospel of Salvation, and how to be saved, as well as the contact numbers of our staff at HomeJTK for prayer and counseling.
