As Rosh Hashana (the Jewish New Year) and Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles) draw near, our hearts are eager to bring hope and joy to the people of Israel during this special season. At Home of Jesus the King Church, we have launched a heartfelt Rosh Hashana project, and we want to invite you to be a part of this incredible opportunity to share God’s love in a tangible way.
This year, we are aiming to bless over 500 Jewish families with special holiday food boxes. Each box will contain essential non-perishable items along with holiday treats such as chocolate, honey, and cookies—gifts that carry deep symbolic meaning for this time of year. These families include new Jewish immigrants, Holocaust survivors, and Ukrainian and Russian refugees—individuals who have faced unimaginable challenges and are now being reconnected to their ancestral homeland.
Our desire is to serve them in the name of Jesus, showing them the love of God in the process.
We’re also excited to bless their children with holiday coloring books, which are beautifully illustrated with biblical stories. Along with the books, we will provide color pencils, stickers, and more, giving these children the chance to express their creativity and find moments of joy. Many of these kids have been through difficult times, having experienced the trauma of war in Israel and Ukraine. We pray that this small gesture will bring comfort and smiles to their faces.

As we reflect on the goodness of God and His continued faithfulness, let us be reminded of His call to bless Israel. Isaiah 40:1 tells us, “Comfort, comfort My people.” There’s no better time than now to live out these words.
