It’s always amazing to witness the divine connections that God sets up for us on our journey with Him. Whether it’s making new friends, meeting government officials, or connecting with international ministers and pastors, it remains a huge blessing and an open door. Each of these connections is strategic and has a purpose in the plan of God.
During my time in Ireland, I had the wonderful privilege of meeting with the chief rabbi of the Belfast Synagogue. What made this meeting so amazing, was that they are a traditional Jewish synagogue, which invited me – an Arab Israeli believer – to come and share my personal testimony with them. What an amazing opportunity!
I was so warmly received, and it was wonderful to meet all of the precious members of the synagogue.
When it was time for me to address the synagogue, I started by sharing my testimony of how Jesus completely changed my heart from hating Israel to loving Israel and her people. I spoke about the work we do in Israel, and of the beautiful reconciliation that God is facilitating between Jews and Arabs through our ministry in the land.
I also shared about the power of the love of God, how it serves as a weapon in breaking down walls of hatred and prejudice, and how it paves the way for peace and friendship among Jews and Arabs in Israel. No weapon of the enemy can stand against the love of God, which overcomes all things.
The message was well received by all, and I invited the Rabbi and members to come and visit us in Nazareth, as we would love to show them our work in action and have them be a part of it. It was an amazing way to wrap up my ministry time in Ireland, and I thank God for these golden opportunities that only He can create.
