The Jewish festival of Rosh Hashana (The Jewish New Year) is always a very special time for the Jewish people during which they celebrate the goodness of God and His faithfulness to the people of Israel. It’s also a deeply prophetic celebration pointing to the second coming of Jesus Christ, and the Day of Judgment.
Last week my son, Suleiman, and the team from HomeJTK went to visit the municipality of our neighboring town of Nof Hagalil, to reach out to Jewish Ukrainian Refugees and to bless them for the holidays. Can you imagine that? Young Arab believers show the Jewish people the love of Jesus and bless them with humanitarian aid during one of the most important Jewish feasts in the Bible!
This act of kindness made such an impact on these dear refugees, as they did not expect to see the Arab community reaching out to them in such a way, welcoming them to their new homeland and helping them get settled into their new lives. There were many people with tears in their eyes, as they realized that God was working in building bridges between Arabs and Jews in Israel through the love of Jesus.
Sulieman and his team blessed 100 families of Jewish Ukrainian Refugees with good-quality electric kettles, to help them stay warm, in the approaching winter with a cup of hot coffee, tea, or soup. A practical and vital gift for these dear ones!
A special thank you to all our donors who make it possible for us to further the Kingdom of God in Israel and to share the Gospel message with the people of Israel through our deeds and words. We love and appreciate you!
Our work in Israel keeps growing and we need your support now more than ever, to make an eternal impact on the lives of Israeli Arabs and Jews. Please consider partnering with us on a monthly basis so that we can continue strong with the work of our Lord Jesus here in Nazareth and the surrounding areas.
We love and appreciate you!
