This past week we had the tremendous blessing of providing food boxes to more than 60 families of Ukrainian Jewish refugees in our neighboring town of Nof Hagalil, and welcoming them to the land of Israel with open arms. It was a very powerful and eye-opening moment for many as we demonstrated how Arabs and Jews can live and work together in peace, through our mutual love and faith in Jesus Christ.

Initially it was a shock for these Ukrainian refugees to see an Arab pastor and his team express such love and adoration for them, along with a sincere desire to help them as they start their new lives in Israel. They had never heard the truth about the reconciliation that is happening in Israel between Arabs and Jews, but had only heard what the secular media was proclaiming about the State of Israel. It was a wonderful encouragement for them to witness the reality of the One New Man in Christ!

At the beginning of the meeting I warmly welcomed each and every person, and encouraged them with the Word of God. I thanked them for coming out to be with us on that day, and for allowing us to bless them with humanitarian aid. It was also a very touching and special moment when I shared my testimony of how I became a born-again believer in the Jewish Messiah of Israel, Jesus, and how He had come into my life and saved me from my sins.

I continued by extending a warm invitation to everybody in attendance to come and visit us in Nazareth at our humanitarian center, and to share in fellowship, and to collect more humanitarian aid in the form of clothes, appliances and toiletries. It was like heaven on earth to see the smiles on their faces! The Lord had touched many hearts on that day, and had opened many eyes to the reality of the love of Jesus and what can be accomplished when we stand together as Arabs and Jews in Israel.
