There are a lot of challenges that Israel as a nation has had to deal with over the years, whether economically, defensively, or politically, yet it’s important to remember that behind the headlines and the news, there are people, faces, and stories. There are individuals and families whose everyday life is a struggle just to make ends meet and put food on the table. Statistics show that more than 21% of Israel’s population lives below the national poverty line.
We, as a congregation in Nazareth, have been issued a challenge while witnessing this country and its people’s struggles. Our challenge is to show love and care through practical help where it is most needed at a time when it is most needed.
This is why all of us here at Home of Jesus the King Church have been hard at work: planning, strategizing and mobilizing our humanitarian outreach projects, so many that we can bring immediate and much-needed relief in times of need.
Our team of volunteers has been busy purchasing humanitarian goods, assembling food baskets, putting together essentials for Arab and Jewish families in need, as well as keeping our humanitarian distribution center operating to receive those in need, whether for the Gospel or for practical aid.
The logistics are intense and time-consuming, but your generosity is enabling us to do so much more than we could’ve done alone, and you are helping us reach more and more families with humanitarian aid and the Gospel!
It’s such a blessing to see the humble smiles on people’s faces when they open their doors and receive a piece of light that you are bringing into their homes through your amazing support — that is all the blessing we could ask for! To be an extension of God’s love and kindness.

Currently, we are aiding a monthly average of 120 families in Nazareth, and 100 families in Haifa, with food boxes, clothing, shoes, appliances, etc.
For $30 a month you can provide a family with a generous food box, containing essential and non-perishable food items. To be able to feed one family is such an amazing blessing, but then imagine stretching your generosity to help feed 10 families for a donation of $300, or 100 families for a gift of $3000 through a once-off gift or a monthly gift.
Your gifts go a long way because God can multiply any seed. He isn’t looking at the gift but at our hearts. We want to make sure we do as much as possible for as many people as possible with the resources God provides us through your generosity.
