This past week, we experienced a beautiful demonstration of unity at Home of Jesus the King Church as our members gathered to prepare our humanitarian aid center for the coming winter season. Working side by side, they filled the center with warm clothing, bedding, and essentials that will soon be distributed to those in need across our community.
In each heart and hand, there was a sense of joy and purpose. Just as Scripture reminds us, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1). The atmosphere was vibrant and full of encouragement as members felt the presence of God moving through the practical acts of love they were preparing.
Our church has always been committed to being a place of action, a beacon that goes beyond words to meet needs in real, tangible ways. Through projects like this, our congregation sees that our ministry focuses on truly embodying God’s love—making a difference not just spiritually but practically. This unity and collective effort have become a powerful testament to others, showing that we are a church that stands together, serving as one body to bring warmth and hope to others in the name of Jesus.
