This holiday season, Home of Jesus the King Church is filled with gratitude for the blessings we’ve been able to share, thanks to your incredible support.
As we celebrated Hanukkah and Christmas, we were overwhelmed by the opportunities God gave us to make a difference in the lives of those around us. Your generous donations allowed us to touch the lives of both Jewish and Arab families in meaningful ways.
Together, we successfully completed numerous impactful projects during this festive season.
Here are some highlights from the efforts your kindness made possible this festive season:
- Special Needs Schools in Haifa: We blessed the children of two special needs schools in Haifa with Christmas gift packs, bringing joy and love to these amazing young ones.
- Hospital Outreach in Nazareth: We visited and comforted the Dialysis and Children’s Departments of the family hospital in Nazareth, spreading hope and warmth to patients and their families.
- Support for Ukrainian & Russian Jewish Immigrants: We provided 200 immigrant families and their children with food packages and Christmas gifts, sharing God’s love during a challenging time for these families.
- Retirement Home Visits: Two retirement homes, housing both Jewish and Arab residents, were blessed with Christmas gifts, fostering unity and celebration among the elderly.
- Hanukkah Blessings: During Hanukkah, we distributed gifts to 200 Orthodox Jewish children, sharing in the joy of their festival.
- Help for Needy Families: We provided 15 very needy families with meat for Christmas, ensuring they could celebrate with a special meal.
- Support for the Homeless: In Haifa, we supported 50 homeless individuals with food packages and Christmas gifts, offering them dignity and care.
- Massive Gift Distribution: Across the north of Israel, we distributed 4,000 Christmas gifts to Jewish and Arab children, spreading light and happiness.
- Food Security: We distributed 500 food packages to needy families, ensuring they had enough to eat during the season.
- Warm Winter Items: We provided 300 warm blankets, along with 300 hats and scarves, to families in need, helping them stay warm during the cold months.
- Christmas Story Program: A special program was conducted for 30 children, teaching them the Christmas story and sharing the message of Christ’s love.
These acts of love and service are at the heart of our mission. As a church, we strive not just to speak about Jesus but to demonstrate His love through practical actions. The gratitude we witnessed from the families we served, including their heartfelt words, reminded us of the transformative power of the Gospel in action.
As we approach the New Year, we invite you to continue walking with us on this journey. The Lord is coming back soon, and we must remain His witnesses in a world that needs His light. Your partnership has already made such a difference, and together, we can do even more in the coming year.
