At Home of Jesus the King Church, we often say that our ministry is more than just giving out aid—it’s about building bridges, healing hearts, and revealing the love of Yeshua to the people of Israel. And every so often, we meet someone whose story captures that mission in a deeply moving way.
Recently, Pastor Saleem had a conversation with Irina, a Jewish immigrant who made aliyah to Israel in search of safety, hope, and a better life. Like so many others, Irina found herself in the northern part of Israel—grateful to be here, but struggling to make ends meet in a new land and new language, without a strong support system.
When she came across our ministry, she didn’t just receive help—she found something far more precious: love, dignity, and true friendship. With tears in her eyes, Irina shared how deeply moved she was to be helped by Arab believers—something she never expected.
This is the heartbeat of our ministry.
We believe that Yeshua’s love knows no borders, and through our humanitarian outreach—especially in the Jewish communities of the north—we are not just meeting physical needs, we are sowing seeds of reconciliation between Jews and Arabs, and revealing the true heart of the Gospel.

Irina is just one of many lives that have been touched. She is a living testimony of what happens when the Church rises up to be the hands and feet of Yeshua. Her story reminds us that compassion opens doors that politics never can.
