Nikolai and Vika are a couple from Ukraine who fled their homeland in the face of the ongoing conflict. Like so many others, they arrived in Israel, specifically in Nof HaGalil, with nothing more than the few belongings they could carry, hoping for a fresh start and a sense of peace. Their journey has been filled with fear, uncertainty, and unimaginable loss. But by God’s grace, they found refuge — and us. They found a place where they were no longer strangers, but were embraced as family.
Since their arrival, Home of Jesus the King Church has had the honor of supporting them week after week. We’ve provided food, clothing, essentials, and most importantly, emotional and spiritual encouragement. And it’s not just about the physical needs being met — it’s about offering them a sense of dignity and belonging in a time when everything else has been stripped away.
