At Home of Jesus the King Church, we recently had the joy of meeting Alexey, a new Jewish immigrant to Israel who, like many others, arrived in the land with little more than hope for a better future. Alexey came to visit us at our humanitarian aid center to find help for him and his family in their time of need.
Alexey was so thankful, and also genuinely surprised by the love and generosity that he experienced from us as believing Israeli Arabs. Pastor Saleem asked Alexey if he could share a few words with our partners, and in a short but touching moment, Alexey turned not just to Pastor Saleem—but directly to the camera—to say, with deep sincerity, “Toda raba”—Thank you to all of you, our partners.

Thank you for the encouragement.
Thank you for showing him the love of God in action.
Behind that brief expression of gratitude is a story echoed by so many families we’ve come alongside. New immigrants often arrive in Israel facing serious challenges—language barriers, cultural shifts, financial strain, and emotional upheaval.
