Launching our Back to School Project with the goal of providing Jewish and Arab children in Israel with backpacks and school supplies before the start of the new school year is our way of touching hearts with God’s love by providing a pressing need.
The gratitude families in need feel goes far beyond having a need met; it stems from feeling seen and cared for.
Our Back to School project aims to provide 300 Israeli children, both Jews and Arabs, with school supplies for the upcoming new school year, which also carries the challenges of the ongoing war in Israel.
Having partially secured some of the funds for this much-needed project, we are still $8,000 short for an additional 155 back-to-school kits for children in need.
These children come from low-income families that struggle to make ends meet, many of them live below the poverty line and depend greatly on humanitarian relief projects like these.
A gift as small as $50 can help provide one child with a new school backpack and essential school supplies.
