As we walk through the special season of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot, our hearts are filled with gratitude—for God’s goodness, and for you, our precious partners who make this ministry possible.
For many new Jewish immigrants in Israel, these holidays can be some of the hardest days of the year. Families arrive in this land with great hope, yet face many challenges. They are learning a new language, adjusting to a new culture, searching for jobs, and trying to raise children while struggling financially to simply make ends meet. Preparing for the holidays, which should be a time of joy and family celebration, often becomes a heavy burden instead.
But through your faithful support, Home of Jesus the King Church has been able to step into that need with love and practical help. Together, we distributed holiday food boxes and sweet baskets that not only brought relief but also restored dignity and joy. These gifts were more than food—they were a reminder to each family that they are not forgotten, that they are rooted in the land of Israel, and that God’s people around the world stand with them.
The families who received these gifts expressed deep gratitude.
Mothers spoke of how meaningful it was to have this support during such a challenging season. Others shared how important it was to feel the love of God reaching them through these simple yet significant acts of kindness. Again and again, the message was the same: these blessings truly mattered.
What makes this work even more beautiful is that it is happening through reconciliation. Jews and Arabs are serving side by side, building bridges of friendship, and showing the world a living testimony of God’s love. When we serve in unity, we demonstrate the heart of Yeshua in the most practical way—through love in action.
We want to sincerely thank you for standing with Home of Jesus the King Church. Your prayers, support, and generosity are making a difference here in Israel—family by family, life by life. We encourage you to continue standing with us, because as you can see from these messages of gratitude, together we are changing stories, healing hearts, and advancing God’s Kingdom in this land.
With love and appreciation,
Pastor Saleem Shalash
