Last week, we had the incredible privilege of blessing elderly Jewish people and Holocaust survivors in our neighboring town of Nof HaGalil with blanket sets—a small but meaningful gesture of love and care.
For many of these dear people, the colder months can be especially difficult. Some live alone, without family nearby, and others carry the heavy burden of painful memories from the past. But through this simple act of kindness, we were able to remind them that they are not forgotten, and they are deeply loved—by us, and most importantly, by the Lord.
A Bridge of Reconciliation
This is not just a one-time project; it is an ongoing mission to bless our Jewish neighbors, as we are called to in Isaiah:
If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
Isaiah 58:10
Through practical acts of love, we are building bridges of reconciliation—choosing to walk in peace and unity despite our differences.
At times, standing with Israel isn’t easy. It comes with challenges and misunderstandings. As Arab believers in Yeshua, we often find ourselves in the middle—like a slice of cheese between two pieces of bread. Some Arabs see us as traitors, while some Orthodox Jews still see us as outsiders. But just like cheese gives flavor to a sandwich, we are called to bring the love and reality of Yeshua to all people. This is our mission, and we embrace it with joy.
