At Home of Jesus the King Church, everything starts with love. Not just words, but real, practical love that shows up when people need it most. In a time when the world feels more divided than ever, this little church in Nazareth is doing something different—they’re building bridges between Israeli Arabs and Jews, instead of walls.
One of those bridges led to Svetlana.
She’s a new Jewish immigrant who came to Israel with her husband and five children, hoping for a fresh start. But like so many others, she quickly found herself overwhelmed—trying to navigate a new country, a new language, and a life that felt uncertain. That’s when she came into contact with the team at the church.
They didn’t just give her food, hygiene items, and warm clothes. They gave her something even more powerful: kindness, care, and the kind of love that doesn’t expect anything in return. For Svetlana, that made all the difference. Through those simple gifts, she began to experience God’s love in a real and personal way.
That’s what this ministry is all about.
Every month, Home of Jesus the King Church helps hundreds of people—Jewish immigrants, Holocaust survivors, Ukrainian refugees, Arab Christian and Muslim families, even Druze families. Everyone is welcome. No one is left out. Because when Jesus is at the center, compassion crosses every boundary.
This isn’t just about meeting physical needs. It’s about showing people that they matter. That God sees them. That He hasn’t forgotten them.
Jesus said, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35). That’s exactly what’s happening here. Arab believers are stepping out in faith to reach across the divide—not with judgment or politics, but with open arms and open hearts.
And it’s working.
Svetlana’s story is just one of many. But behind every smile, every meal, every warm blanket, there’s a message: “You’re not alone. God loves you.”
