At Home of Jesus the King Church, we see every day how God’s love builds bridges—between cultures, between neighbors, and between hearts.
Recently, Pastor Saleem spent time with Daria, a Jewish immigrant who made aliyah from Ukraine two and a half years ago. Having fled one war, she soon found herself living through the turmoil of conflict here in Israel as well.
For Daria, life in a new land has not been easy. The trauma of war and the challenges of starting over have left deep marks. Yet in the midst of these difficulties, she has experienced something life-giving: the warmth of care, the comfort of community, and the reassurance that she is not alone. Through the prayers and support of our partners, she has seen the love of God expressed in real, practical ways—whether through food baskets, holiday gifts, or simple words of encouragement in her own language.

Every act of kindness extended in love is more than a gesture—it is a bridge. For people like Daria, these bridges connect them to healing, dignity, and hope. They remind families who have endured so much that God’s love reaches across every barrier, meeting them right where they are.
