Shalom and warm greetings from Nazareth, the hometown of our Lord Jesus! We are so excited to share the latest about their outreach efforts during this difficult time in Israel. Despite the challenges of conflict, economic strain, and daily uncertainties, we are devoted to meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of struggling families, blessing them with God’s love in practical ways here in Israel.
Over the High Holy Days in September and October, with the help of our partners, we 500 food boxes for Rosh Hashanah and another 500 for Sukkot to families in need. Each package went to a new Jewish immigrant family, showing them that they are not alone and that God loves them. Under the constant strain of conflict and war, these food boxes brought much-needed support and a message of hope to Israeli families in need.
Now, we here at Home of Jesus the King Church are shifting our focus to an exciting Christmas Outreach Project. This year’s goal is to bring 4,000 Christmas gifts to children from Jewish, Muslim, and nominal Christian families in Nazareth and our neighboring towns. Each package will contain a toy, chocolates, and a magnet with the phrase “Jesus is the Reason for the Season” in Arabic, Hebrew, and English—a simple reminder of God’s love for them.
The distribution will take place during the annual Christmas parade on December 24th in Nazareth, which draws over 60,000 visitors each year. This event is an amazing opportunity to share God’s light with families from all backgrounds and walks of life.
Each gift will shine as a “light in the darkness,” reminding families that Jesus loves them and that He was born into this world at Christmas to save them. In a time when so many are facing economic hardship and job loss, this outreach aims to bring smiles, joy, and hope. We believe that every gift will help families remember that Jesus is the true reason for the season, and that they are deeply loved by Him.
