Our Friday evening service this past week was an incredible time of worship, teaching and celebration of the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit moved mightily and many people’s lives were deeply touched as the Lord ministered to individuals in the house that night.

We had invited a very special Arab gospel singer and his team to be with us that evening to lead us into the Lord’s presence through moving and anointed worship music. The church was fully packed, with more than 100 people in attendance.

There were also many seekers present, people who had not yet given their hearts to Jesus, but who were very interested in knowing more about Jesus. It was a very special time for them, and we received great feedback afterward.

Our service was broadcast online throughout the Middle East through Cross TV, enabling millions in Arab nations of the Middle East to hear the Gospel message. Hallelujah!

During the service we displayed a cross that was filled with beautiful red and white flowers, to demonstrate the significance of Jesus’ death and resurrection. The red flowers symbolize the blood of Jesus poured out for our sins, and the white flowers represent the righteousness given to us through the cross. It was a time of rejoicing our passing from the world of sin into the freedom of Jesus.

Towards the end we handed out gifts to everyone in attendance — a special wooden cross with a center engraving that reads “Home of Jesus the King Church,” and the “He is not Here” and “He is Risen” on the arms of the cross. It was such a blessing to see the joy on people’s faces as they received their gifts. Especially the newcomers were deeply touched by it.

Praise the Lord!
