At Home of Jesus the King Church, we believe that every act of compassion carries the presence of God. Recently, the Lord spoke to us about filling the atmosphere at our humanitarian aid center not only with practical help but with His Word and presence. In obedience to this prompting, we have taken steps to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors not only sees God’s love in action but also experiences it in their hearts.
To create an environment where God’s presence is felt, we began playing the audio Bible and worship music through a speaker system at the center. The focus of the audio Bible is the four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—so that those who come seeking help are surrounded by the life-giving words and teachings of Yeshua.
Every person who enters our center now encounters more than material aid; they are immersed in the message of hope, salvation, and peace. The combination of receiving practical help and hearing the Word of God is having a profound effect. We have already seen hearts softened and spirits lifted simply by the presence of His Word filling the air.
Through this initiative, we aim to meet both physical and spiritual needs. As we assist individuals with food, clothing, and other essentials, we are also sowing seeds of faith. It is a joy to see how God is touching lives—not only through our hands but also through His Word—bringing comfort and strength to those in need.
