We’re so thankful to share some wonderful news from Home of Jesus the King Church — we’re opening a new Humanitarian Aid Center in the city of Haifa!
This is a big step of faith for our ministry.
It will allow us to expand our work beyond Nazareth and Nof HaGalil into one of the most diverse and important cities in northern Israel. Haifa is a beautiful city, but it was also one of the hardest hit during the recent war. Many families are still hurting, and there is so much need — both practical and emotional. In the middle of all that pain, we believe God has opened a door for us to bring help and hope.
Haifa has always been a city where Arabs and Jews live side by side. But after everything that has happened in the past year, people are struggling — not only financially, but in their hearts. Refugees from Ukraine and Russia are still arriving, trying to start a new life in Israel, and many local families have lost jobs, homes, and even loved ones.
That’s why this new center is so important.
It’s located right in the heart of Haifa, on one of the city’s busiest streets — a place where thousands of people pass by every day. From there, we’ll be able to meet people where they are, offering food, clothing, and practical help, but also kindness, prayer, and encouragement.
When Pastor Saleem visited the new location, he shared:
“We are standing right in the center of Haifa, in a place where many people pass by every day. It’s a very special opportunity to reach more and more people — Jews, Arabs, Russian and Ukrainian refugees — with the love of Yeshua. This is another step of faith. It’s time to work. It’s time to show His love.”
This new center will help us reach many more people in need — especially refugees who have come to Israel from Ukraine and Russia.
But our goal isn’t only to give humanitarian aid.
We also want to build bridges between Arabs and Jews, showing through our actions that love is stronger than fear, and that in Yeshua, there is unity and peace. We believe that every food basket, every warm coat, every conversation and prayer is a seed that God can use to bring healing and reconciliation. Our new Haifa center will be a place where people feel cared for, respected, and loved — no matter who they are.
The space we’ve found needs renovation and preparation before we can open the doors. We’ll need to clean, repair, and furnish it so that it’s ready to welcome families who come for help. It’s a big project, but we know that God has called us to take this step — and He will provide what’s needed.
We ask you to pray with us for God’s blessing and provision for the renovations and monthly rent, for strength and unity for our team as we begin the work, for the families in Haifa who are still suffering from the effects of war, and that through this center, many hearts will be touched by the love of Yeshua. This new center will be much more than a building — it will be a light in the heart of Haifa, shining God’s love where it’s needed most.
