Sometimes the love of God is revealed not through great miracles, but through a simple moment of grace.
Recently, at our Humanitarian Aid Center in Nazareth, Pastor Saleem witnessed something deeply moving. Two women — Maria, from Ukraine, and Natalie, from Russia — stood together, smiling and embracing as close friends. In the eyes of the world, they come from nations at war with each other. Yet here, in the house of God, they stood together — not as enemies, but as sisters.
As Pastor Saleem said in that moment, “This is the truth. This is what God is searching for.”
In a world filled with division and conflict, this small scene spoke louder than words. It was a picture of reconciliation — proof that the love of God can bridge even the deepest divides.
At Home of Jesus the King Church, this is what we see every week at our Humanitarian Aid Center. Here, Jewish and Arab families, refugees, and new immigrants come together under one roof — not just to receive food or clothing, but to encounter love, dignity, and hope.
When Maria and Natalie embraced, it reminded us all of what the Gospel truly means: that in Jesus, enemies become friends, strangers become family, and love conquers fear. This is the heart of our ministry — to be a place where God’s love breaks down barriers and heals hearts across Israel.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”

Every hug, every prayer, every act of kindness given at our aid center carries this same message — that the love of Jesus is stronger than hate, greater than war, and powerful enough to unite nations.
