As the nation of Israel is slowly coming to grips with the atrocities committed by the terrorist from Gaza against Israelis in the south, our help as believers are more needed than ever. Thousands of Israelis are injured and displaced due to the war, and are in need of daily essentials to continue living their lives.
We at HomeJTK have mobilized to make a difference and to provide care hampers containing toiletries, hygiene products, and toys for the affected families who came under attack by Hamas. We are currently preparing 500 of these hampers, which we will be distributing through our Jewish humanitarian partners: Nof HaGalil City Hall, Ezer leChaver, Beit Hallel Congregation, and One for Israel.
These care hampers cost us $20 each to prepare, and we would love to invite you to stand with us in blessing affected Israelis and soldiers during this time with practical aid, as well as showing them the love of Jesus in action. If you would like to sponsor a single hamper for $20, or 10 hampers for $200, or a hundred hampers for $2000, then we would be so thankful.
These hampers contain the following:
– Socks
– Toothbrushes
– Toothpaste
– Wet Wipes
– Hand Soap
– Body Soap
– Shampoo
– Toilet Paper
– Children’s Toys (teddy bears and doll)
– Children’s Coloring books and crayons
In addition, we’re also preparing around 400 food boxes to distribute the affected communities and army bases around Gaza. These food boxes cost $40 each to prepare, and contain 22 non-perishable and nutritious food products. These food boxes make a real difference in the lives of families who are still reeling from Hamas’ onslaught, and who are hunkering down in bunkers and behind locked doors.
