After our Christmas day parade, many of the testimonies that came in were from people who shared that it’s always nice to show others what Christmas is about, but what truly matters is the giving aspect of Christmas, which is a reflection of the heart of Jesus Christ. The handing out of Christmas gifts during the parade had a more profound effect on the people of Nazareth than we could ever have imagined. Not only did they see people celebrating the birthday of Christ, but they got to experience His love and His heart towards mankind.
People were so shocked to see an entire truck filled with gifts ready to be handed out, as it was so unexpected and rare to see during Christmas events. We thank God profusely for His grace and mercy, for He had brought the favor, the partners, and the wisdom to turn the dream into a reality. In the weeks to come we expect to receive an influx of messages and testimonies from people who had been touched during the parade, and also those who would want to know more about Christ and receive Him as Lord and Savior. Hallelujah!
Everything you see happening in these pictures and videos is because of your support, friendship, and love, and all of Nazareth is talking about it. We would not have been able to pull off this parade without your support and love. The success of the parade and the success of this project is also yours!
We also had the privilege to host some guests from abroad who helped us in the preparations for the project, as well as with the distribution of gifts during the parade. It was a blessing to see believers from the nation share in our joy and experience Christmas in the hometown of our Lord Jesus. You are also welcome to join us next year. Looking from the outside is not the same as experiencing it firsthand. Come and see what the Lord is doing!
It was also a blessing to see some good coverage from local and international news websites, and we would love for you to hear what our friends had to say in the links below:
On behalf of all of us here at Home of Jesus the King Church: Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We love and appreciate you!
