At Home of Jesus the King Church, every family we meet has a story — a journey of faith, struggle, and new beginnings. Some arrive in Israel with nothing but a suitcase and a prayer. Others come carrying memories of war and loss, yet still holding onto hope that God has not forgotten them.
One of those stories belongs to Pavel, a father of four who recently arrived in Israel from Russia. Like so many new immigrants, he came seeking safety and a fresh start for his family. Two of his sons have already joined the Israeli army, one child is still in school, and his wife is doing her best to care for their new home in a foreign land.
When Pavel came to our Humanitarian Aid Center in Nazareth, he didn’t just find practical help — he found people who care. With a grateful smile, he shared, “This help is so important for us. Thank you very much. May God bless you.”
His words were simple, but they carried the weight of a father’s heart — thankful for the kindness of strangers who made it possible for his children to have what they need.
