We’re incredibly grateful for the work God has entrusted us with at Home of Jesus the King Church. It’s an honor to serve the poor and needy in both Israeli Arab and Jewish communities, shining the light of Jesus and sharing His love with those who need it most. This mission is a privilege that we cherish every day.
However, as much as we pour our hearts into this work, we know that it’s vital to think about the future. One day, it will be time for the next generation to step up and take over. We’ve been reminded by Scripture just how important it is to prepare those who come after us.
Looking back at the Old Testament, we see that even great leaders like Joshua made mistakes. While Joshua was a mighty leader, he didn’t raise up others to follow in his footsteps. After he passed, the nation of Israel fell into disarray, lacking the leadership to guide them, which eventually led to their captivity. This story serves as a powerful reminder that we must be intentional about raising up the next generation of leaders.
As we continue our work of building bridges and being peacemakers here in Israel, we believe it’s crucial to involve our children—not just by teaching them how to live lives that honor God, but by actively involving them in our mission. At Home of Jesus the King Church, we make sure that our children are hands-on with our humanitarian and outreach projects.
When you watch the videos, you’ll see the pure joy on the faces of these kids as they serve and help with our ministry initiatives. They’re not just learning about faith; they’re living it out. We’re planting seeds of compassion, leadership, and service in their hearts, and it’s a beautiful thing to witness. These experiences are shaping them to become the future leaders who will continue the work we’ve started, ensuring that the love of Jesus continues to be a light in this land for generations to come.
