With Rosh Hashana—the Feast of Trumpets—just around the corner, we have an amazing opportunity to reach out and bless needy Jewish people in our communities with the love of Jesus and essential humanitarian aid. Not only are we engaging our precious neighbors to shine the light of the Messiah, but also to bless them with special food boxes in celebration of the holidays.
We are busy preparing 300 food boxes to start off our Rosh Hashana campaign, but are aiming at helping many more Jewish people in need further down the line. We will be distributing 100 of these food boxes to Holocaust Survivors, 100 food boxes to Ukrainian refugees, and 100 food boxes to Russian refugees. As we have been expanding our work to additional cities, we will be active in distributing these special holiday food boxes in the cities of Haifa, Katzrin, and additional smaller towns in the north of Israel.
Every food box will contain 22 nutritious and non-perishable food items and staples, as well as fresh apples, honey, and grape juice for the Biblical celebration of Rosh Hashana, the Feast of Trumpets. This will be a very special blessing for the Jewish refugees who will be celebrating their very first Rosh Hashana in the land of Israel, and will serve to connect them to their Biblical roots and remind them of the goodness and faithfulness of God.
This project serves as a very strategic and important platform for us to continue building bridges, shining Jesus’ light, and promoting peace between the Arab and Jewish communities in our area. We would love for you to partner with us in this project by sponsoring a family of Holocaust Survivors, or Ukrainian and Russian refugees with a special $40 Rosh Hashana food box. We believe that God will produce a blessed harvest in the lives of those whom you bless, as well as in your own life.
