As we enter this special season of Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, it’s important to remember that this is not just a Jewish holiday—it is the Lord’s appointed time, filled with prophetic significance. The Feast of Trumpets, established in Exodus, points us to the future return of Jesus, the Messiah.
When God instructed Moses to prepare the people for the third day on Mount Sinai, it was more than just a moment in history. It was a prophetic picture of the day when the Lord will come again, not to Mount Sinai, but to Mount Zion. The sound of the shofar, the trumpet blast, will announce His return, and we will be sanctified by the blood of Yeshua, standing holy before Him.
This ancient feast reminds us of the hope we have in Christ’s return. As we blow the shofar in our gatherings, we are not only celebrating the past but also preparing for the future day when the Lord will take us to be with Him.
