Rosh Hashanah Project:
Blessing the Jewish People of Nof HaGalil

This past week, at Home of Jesus the King Church, we were incredibly blessed to take part in a special outreach in celebration of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. As followers of Yeshua (Jesus), we recognize the importance of standing with and blessing Israel, and this project allowed us to do just that.

With the generous support of our donors, we were able to prepare and distribute 150 food boxes to some of the most vulnerable in the community of Nof HaGalil, including refugees, new Jewish immigrants, Holocaust survivors, and single mothers. These food boxes, filled with essential items, were more than just gifts—they were a tangible expression of God’s love and care for His people.

For many of these individuals, Rosh Hashanah can be a challenging time, especially when they are far from loved ones or struggling to make ends meet. But thanks to this outreach, they were able to celebrate the New Year with dignity, hope, and the knowledge that they are not forgotten.

One of the most touching moments of the day was when the Deputy Mayor of Nof HaGalil, Erez, personally visited us to express his heartfelt thanks. He spoke on behalf of the town council and the Jewish people of Nof HaGalil, acknowledging the meaningful impact this act of kindness has had on their community.

In his words, our efforts are “building bridges” between communities, showing that the love of Yeshua can be shared in ways that resonate deeply with those we serve. By being His hands and feet, we are shining His light, and demonstrating that love knows no boundaries.

This project would not have been possible without the prayerful and financial support of our faithful donors. Because of your generosity, we are able to continue showing His love to the Jewish people in such a meaningful way, reminding them that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.

As we reflect on the success of this project, we are filled with gratitude and anticipation for what God will continue to do. Please continue to pray for the people of Nof HaGalil and for the ongoing work of Home of Jesus the King Church as we serve and bless Israel in His name. Together, we are making a difference—one box, one life, one heart at a time.

Shanah Tovah! (Happy New Year!)
