At Home of Jesus the King Church in Nazareth, every act of kindness carries the potential to change a life. Our team has the privilege of serving many individuals and families from all walks of life—people who are facing real struggles, yet find hope and restoration through love in action.
One such story is that of Ashraf.
Ashraf comes from a Muslim background and has become a familiar and welcome face at our ministry center. He regularly visits the center not just for the practical help offered, but also because he feels valued and respected. His appreciation for the work being done here is genuine and deeply felt.
“Really, all respect to you,” he said during a recent visit. “You are doing the right work and helping us so much. We are happy because of you. All the best to you—and not just to you, Pastor Saleem, but to the whole team that works here. Truly, great job.”
Ashraf’s life hasn’t been easy.
He previously worked with Jewish companies before falling on hard times, including serious health challenges that continue to affect him today. Despite the pain and difficulties, Ashraf has found encouragement and strength through the support he receives at the church.
“Everyone goes through hard times,” he shared, “but I really got through it with your help. It was comfortable for me to spend time here at Home of Jesus the King Church, even joyful, and I came through my most difficult challenge because of it.”
His story is a powerful reminder of what can happen when people choose to serve others with compassion, regardless of background or circumstance. At Home of Jesus the King Church, we believe that serving one family at a time makes a real difference. And we are committed to being a light in these difficult days—for Ashraf and many others like him.
