Sharing the Light —
Bringing Hope This Christmas and Hanukkah in Israel

Every December, when the first lights of Christmas and Hanukkah appear, we’re reminded why we do what we do — to make Jesus known in His homeland. Through every smile, every gift, and every word of kindness, we want people in Israel to see that the hope of Christmas is not a distant idea but a living reality in Jesus, the Light of the world.

In Nazareth, the atmosphere is already changing. Decorations are going up, families are preparing for celebrations, and children are talking excitedly about the Christmas parade. Meanwhile, at our humanitarian aid center, our team of volunteers is hard at work — sorting toys, packing food boxes, and preparing hundreds of gifts that will soon be delivered to families across Nazareth, Nof HaGalil, Haifa, and the Galilee.

Every box packed, every ribbon tied, and every package lifted into a delivery van is done with prayer and purpose. Our goal is simple: to reach hearts, build bridges between Arab and Jewish families, and remind our communities that God’s love is near, real, and active.

Christmas Parade Gift Boxes — Joy for 4,000 Children

The Nazareth Christmas Parade is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Streets overflow with color and excitement as families gather to celebrate together. In the midst of the music and laughter, our team will hand out 4,000 Christmas Gift Boxes — each one filled with a toy, sweets, and a message about the greatest gift ever given: Jesus.

In the weeks leading up to the parade, our humanitarian aid center hall is transformed into a joyful workshop. Volunteers carefully pack boxes and pray over them, knowing that each one will soon bring joy to a child, many from families who have little to give this season.

Each box costs $9, but the effect is lasting. A single gift can spark joy, open a heart, and plant a seed of faith that only God can grow.

Christmas Food Boxes — Dignity at the Table

While children celebrate, many parents quietly worry about how they’ll feed their families. Rising costs have made it difficult for many to afford even basic groceries, let alone something special for the holidays.

In response, our team is already preparing hundreds of Christmas Food Boxes, each filled with essential staples and festive items. Every box costs $50, providing enough for a family to sit down and share a proper meal together — and to experience the warmth of being remembered.

When our volunteers deliver these boxes, they don’t just drop them at the door. They stop to talk, listen, pray, and remind families that they are not forgotten — that God’s care is personal and close.

Each box is a quiet act of compassion, restoring dignity and hope where it’s most needed.

Hanukkah Gifts for Israeli Children — Light That Connects

Hanukkah celebrates the miracle of God’s faithfulness — a light that never went out. This year, that light will shine again as our team blesses 500 children, both Arab and Jew, across Nazareth, Haifa, and the Galilee with Hanukkah gifts — small, meaningful tokens of care that reach across cultural and religious lines.

Each gift costs $5.50, but what it represents is priceless. In a land often marked by division, these simple gestures of kindness speak a powerful message: The light of Jesus is for everyone.
