At Home of Jesus the King Church, we embrace the joy and message of Christmas as a time to proclaim that Jesus is the reason for the season.
This year, as part of our Christmas outreach program, we set out to share His love in a meaningful way, bringing light and hope to some very special children in our community.
We had the privilege of visiting two schools that serve Arab and Jewish children with autism and Down syndrome. These precious children are truly loved by God, and it was our honor to bless them with more than 400 Christmas gift packs.
The experience was deeply moving. As we handed out the gifts, the pure joy on their faces was a reminder of the beauty of childlike wonder. Their smiles, laughter, and excitement warmed our hearts and filled the room with an atmosphere of love and unity.
We were also inspired by the dedication of their parents and teachers, who work tirelessly to nurture and support these children. Their unwavering commitment is a testament to the value and dignity of every life, created in the image of God.
These children, with their unique hearts and perspectives, are making an incredible impact on the lives of those around them. They remind us of the simple yet profound truth of the Christmas season: that God’s love is for everyone, regardless of background or ability.
As we reflect on this outreach, we are reminded of the words of Jesus:
Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these
Matthew 19:14
