As we reflect on this sacred season, we at Home of Jesus the King Church are preparing once again to share the love of Yeshua in a practical and meaningful way. After our recent efforts to bless Jewish families during Rosh Hashanah, we are now turning our focus toward Sukkot—The Feast of Tabernacles.
Sukkot is a beautiful, biblical celebration that commemorates God’s provision and protection for the Israelites during their 40 years in the wilderness. For seven days, Jewish families build temporary shelters called “sukkahs” to remember how their ancestors lived in tents and how God was their constant refuge. It is a time of great joy, thankfulness, and community, as families come together to celebrate God’s goodness.
This year, we are reaching out to bless 500 Jewish families for Sukkot—just as we did for Rosh Hashanah—by providing food boxes filled with essentials. Our efforts are focused on those under fire in the northern city of Kiryat Shmona, as well as in Nof HaGalil, where many families are facing difficult circumstances due to the ongoing situation in Israel.
This initiative is more than just providing food; it’s about building bridges between Israeli Arabs and Jews during a time of deep need and uncertainty. By standing with our Jewish neighbors and offering practical support, we are shining the love of Jesus, demonstrating His compassion and care in these challenging days.
