Shalom from Nazareth!
I want to share with you something very dear to my heart—the Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah. This is not just another date on the calendar, not just a Jewish tradition. It is the Lord’s appointed time, a prophetic reminder that one day soon, the trumpet will sound, and Yeshua will return for His bride!
When I read in the book of Exodus how God told Moses to set boundaries at the mountain and keep the people from going up, I can almost imagine the awe of that moment. There was no priesthood yet, no tabernacle, no sacrifice system—so what was God pointing to? He was already looking ahead to the day when we, His redeemed people, would meet Him at Mount Zion. He was pointing to the rapture—the day we will see our Messiah face to face!
This is why the Feast of Trumpets carries such a powerful message.
It asks us: Are you ready? Are we living as His priests, washed in His blood, shining with His love to a broken world? Every page of the Old Testament whispers the same truth: it’s all about Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel and the world.
And friends, that is exactly why we do what we do. Right now, in this season, we are busy packing special Rosh Hashanah food baskets—filled with honey, sweets, and traditional treats. Why? Because just as honey speaks of a sweet new year, we want these dear families—Jewish immigrants, Holocaust survivors, refugees from Ukraine and Russia—to taste the sweetness of Yeshua’s love.
The gratitude we see in their eyes is unforgettable. In the middle of hardship, loneliness, and need, they experience the love of God in action through something as simple as a food basket. Each one costs about $40, but its impact is eternal. Our vision is to reach 500 families this year, and with your help, we can touch even more lives.
Beloved, this is not just “their holiday”; this is the Lord’s holiday.
Paul reminds us in Romans 15, “Rejoice, O nations, with His people.” What joy it is to stand together with Israel, to bless the children of Abraham, and to proclaim through every gift that the Messiah is here, that He loves them, and that He has not forgotten His people!
From the depths of my heart, I thank you for standing with us. Thank you for praying, for giving, for shining with us in these difficult days. Together, we are preparing the way for the King of kings. Together we declare: the trumpet will sound, Yeshua is coming soon!
