First, I want to thank you. Many of you have written, prayed, and reached out during these days. We truly feel your support, and it strengthens us more than you know.
Here in Nazareth, the situation remains very tense. The nights are often interrupted by sirens, sometimes several times before morning. Yesterday was especially intense, with repeated alarms and loud explosions across the region. Many families are tired. Many are living with constant alertness.
But we are not losing heart.
We continue to pray. We continue to stand for this nation — for both Arab and Jewish communities — and we continue building bridges even in a time of uncertainty. Recently, I stood together with the mayor and a rabbi for the reading of the Scroll of Esther. It was a meaningful moment of unity. The story reminds us that throughout history, threats have risen — yet God has remained faithful. Even when evil appears strong, the Lord is still present and still working.
At Home of Jesus the King Church, we are not standing still. We have begun preparing practical support packages for families staying in public shelters throughout the Galilee. These families include both Arabs and Jews. We are packing simple but meaningful items: supplies for hot drinks, small treats for children, disposable cups and spoons, and electric kettles, since open flames are not permitted in shelters. In long hours underground, even something as simple as a warm drink brings comfort and steadiness.

Meeting Growing Humanitarian Needs
As the situation has escalated, the practical needs around us have grown quickly.
In Nof HaGalil and surrounding areas, newly arrived immigrants, refugees, and vulnerable families are staying in public shelters without proper bedding. Many are sleeping directly on hard floors without mattresses or enough blankets.
To respond to this urgent need, we are working to provide:
- 500–1,000 mattresses — $53 USD each
- 500–1,000 blankets — $14 USD each
These are basic necessities. A mattress lifts a child from cold concrete. A blanket brings warmth and restores a sense of dignity in crowded spaces. In crisis, small acts of care carry deep meaning.
We are also assembling “comfort kits” for families living under constant rocket alerts. Each kit includes tea, sugar, black coffee, instant coffee, disposable cups, spoons, and an electric kettle. The cost per complete kit is $55 USD. When people are gathered for long hours inside shelters, a simple hot drink can calm anxious hearts and bring a sense of stability.
In addition, we are preparing and distributing 500 wartime food baskets for Israeli Arab and Jewish families who are struggling due to the economy, loss of jobs, high cost of living, and the ongoing war. Many were already under financial pressure before this escalation, and now daily life has become even more challenging.
Each food basket costs $40 USD and contains essential items to help families cover their basic needs during this unstable period.
Through these practical efforts, we are expressing the love of Yeshua not only with words, but through visible care — strengthening both physical and emotional resilience in our communities.
