At Home of Jesus the King Church, we are constantly reminded of the deep privilege it is to serve people in Yeshua’s name. One of the most powerful ways we see God at work is in our outreach to Jewish families in need—especially new immigrants who have come to Israel with great hopes, but often face difficult challenges in their first years here.
One woman, Oksana, has been coming to us for many years. She shared how much the support she receives means not only to her, but also to pensioners in her neighborhood and to single mothers who are struggling. For her, this ministry is not just about food and practical help, but about the warmth, kindness, and love she encounters every time she visits. She described how she always arrives with joy, because the atmosphere here lifts her spirit and reminds her she is not alone.
Stories like hers reflect what so many new immigrants experience when they step through our doors: not just material aid, but love, dignity, and hope. At Home of Jesus the King, our vision has never been about charity alone. We believe every food package, every warm smile, and every prayer is a seed of reconciliation—a tangible expression of the love of Jesus that builds bridges between Arab believers and the Jewish people of Israel.
And this is no small thing. For centuries, history has been marked by deep wounds, suspicion, and division between Jews and Arabs. The sight of Arab followers of Yeshua extending hands of blessing to Jewish families is almost unheard of in this land. Yet this is precisely what makes it so powerful—it is nothing less than the Gospel in action. It is a testimony that in Jesus, walls of hostility are broken down, and new seeds of revival, unity, and peace are being planted in the soil of Israel.
Pastor Saleem reflected on this encounter with joy, saying:
“When people come here, they don’t just receive help—they encounter an atmosphere of joy, peace, and the presence of the Lord. This is what we will continue to do: to bless, to serve, and to stand together, because this is the heart of Jesus for Israel.”
In a land too often marked by conflict, these moments shine as small but mighty testimonies of the Kingdom of God breaking through. What begins with simple acts of kindness grows into relationships of trust, healing, and unity.
We believe that every bag of groceries given to a struggling family, every word of encouragement to a lonely widow, and every embrace of welcome to a new immigrant is a proclamation of the Gospel in action. It is Jesus Himself who is the foundation of this work—the One who tears down dividing walls and brings together those once separated.
As we look ahead, our prayer is that many more families like Oksana’s will be touched by this ministry, and that through it, the light of Yeshua will continue to shine brightly in Israel—ushering in revival, reconciliation, and lasting peace.
