Nadine is a dear lady from Haifa who had been hospitalized due to her having suffered a stroke. It was a big blow to the dear lady who was used to living a full and energetic life, and her family was similarly in shock. They had gotten in touch with me to ask if I would come and lay hands on her and pray for her. I said that I would be honored to, and we set a date and time to meet at the hospital in Haifa where Nadine was being kept under observation.
Before I went I knew that Nadine was unable to speak, as a result of the stroke, and she hadn’t uttered a word since it happened a week before. And so before I went into the hospital I prayed and said to the Lord that I needed this lady to be able to speak for at least 5 minutes to pray the Sinner’s Prayer and to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior, as well as for her to respond in faith when I prayed for her healing.
I entered the room where Nadine was lying in bed, with her family members sitting all around her. I started by encouraging her from the Word, about it being God’s will for us to be healed, and sharing about God’s perfect plan of salvation for us all. I then asked Nadine if she was ready to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She nodded her head in agreement.
I then told her that I needed her to repeat after me. When I started to pray, she opened her mouth and started repeating after me. What a miracle! As you can see in the video below, she prayed after me, asked the Lord for forgiveness of her sins, confessed her faith in Jesus and was born again. Praise the Lord!
Her family was shocked and couldn’t believe what they were witnessing. Not only was Nadine speaking, but she had accepted Jesus as her lord and Savior. When God needs someone to repent and receive Him, then He will provide them with the strength and healing power to speak!
We are continuing full-steam ahead with our hospital outreach ministry in Nazareth and Haifa, and are trusting God for many more people to get saved. When you visit us, then we would love for you to join us during our hospital ministry and prayer. Amen!
